Webmaster, Music Producer & Host: Bryce L. Tomlinson
Bare with me for a moment...
As some of you close to me know, I have been producing music for about 15 years or so. It's been a long journey of technical as well as spiritual learnng, and God has been merciful to me in teaching a lesson or two. As a good Pastor friend of mine likes to call it, "a proverbial two-by-four". God has had to use a few of these on me, as well as a couple that weren't quite as proverbial.
Regardless of the means and reasoning, God has seen to it to provide me with the tools to make music from scratch. I am also very convicted NOT to make money from it. Anyone who has collaborated with me knows this in advance. This is purely a tool of ministry that God has put upon me. Before I started doing music for God, I used to call my studio "Slotted Spoon Sound Studios" or "S4" for short. This name was originally the result of a sick inside joke between an old friend of mine & I. When I started writing music to praise Jesus, it was impressed upon me that this was an inappropriate name, and so thus was born the name, "A Heart To Witness.", after my drive to study & teach THE TRUTH about GOD, and to live in His light in such a manner as to introduce people to Jesus simply by living for him. Whereas I used to produce music for the earthly masses, he has turned my studio into something that is bent on doing his will -- for FREE.
I am going to thank a few people here personally. Firstly, please let me thank my Pastor, Steven Holt (Senior Pastor, The International Fellowship Family). You were instrumental in putting me into a place of serving God with these gifts He has given to me, teaching me to have a spirit of servitude, and later helping me to acquire my music software tools for a price that I could afford. Second, I want to thank Brother Wendell Williams. You have been an awesome friend and supporter of this ministry. You've always been here when I needed you, and you've helped me understand what being a BROTHER is about. I'd also like to thank Brother Lance Mashia. God used you to witness to me and put the exact words in your mouth that made me come back to Him. You've been a blessing to me all along, and you continue to witness to me through your example. Next, my family. Thank you Julie. You are the best wife a man could dream of. You've been my biggest and best fan, and I love you so much for that. You're amazing. Dad, Mom. Thank you so much for being there in my times of crisis, time and time again you were always there for me, especially when I didn't deserve the time of day. You've been my supporters when I was at my worse. Thank you for sitting in on all those jam sessions in your basement, and for giving me a place to rest my head. God has used you, whether you like it or not. Felecia, Ray and Raymond Jr., you've listened to my music even when you didn't like it. I appreciate that so much. It's good to have people who are always willing to be objective. Julia, Summer, Grace and Audrey, you've loved me even when I wasn't there. Don't ever stop loving. Thank you. PRAISE GOD FOR ALL OF YOU!!!
