| (C)1996 Bryce L. Tomlinson "The Bar" - Here's a picture I did simply to demonstrate the convincing results you could get out of NewTek's DigiPaint 3.0 on the Amiga. My intent was to show how you could "FAKE" 3D rendering if you used the proper textures and lighting techniques. I think AmigaWorld Magazine had a few articles on methods to do this. There are still elements of the picture that look cartoony at best, but I think for a demonstration, this picture serves its purpose well. Unfortunately, I neglected to leave any room BEHIND the bar for a bartender. A major oversight that wasn't caught until the picture was almost totally finished. Oh well, still fun to look at, and the NewTek posters in the room sort of add to the touch, even though I had to use Photon Paint to "TILT" the "Eye Flag" poster on the left. | Thebar.jpg | 482x441px | 62kB |
